Sim03 help use
Sim03 help use:-
chess programs.
http://komodochess.com/pub/sim03_win.zip
Please help use a step by step guide
Extract the archive to any folder. There are two executables-32 bit and 64 bit. You can use any of these if you are on a 64 bit system. On a 32 bit system only the 32 bit exe can be used. Suppose you want to use the 64 bit version.
Put the engine that you want to check in the same folder where you eTcted the sim tester. The sim tester has to be run from command line. You can also use a bat file. For using a bat file create a file and name it test.bat. You can use any name but the extension should be bat. Right click on the file, select edit and type
sim03w64.exe -t myengine.exe
pause
Where myname.exe is name of the engine you want to check. Save the bat file and run it by double clicking. For checking a second engine copy it to the same folder and edit the bat file to change the engine name and run the bat file again.
After you have run for all the engines you wanted to check you can get a report. For report for the first engine edit the first line to
sim03w64.exe -r 1
for the second engine it would be
sim03w64.exe -r 2
Read the readme for more testing options like changing the time used for each position.
