Gm Max Dlugy recaps Round 4. Five draws, and only one decisive game: Fabiano Caruana wins his game versus Mamedyarov, joining Gelfand in the lead, half a point ahead of Nakamura and Svidlr. In the live rating, Fabiano keeps closing in to Magnus: his monster rating is now 2850, only 13 points behind the World Champion!

GM Ronen Har-Zvi recaps round 6. Caruana winsa again. His victim this time is the great Peter Svdler; with a +3 score, Fabiano grabs the sole lead, followed by Boris Gelfnd half a point behind and the trio Nakamura, Radjabov and Kasimdzhanov a point behind.

GM Joel Benjamin recaps Round 7. The good news is that he is actually human. Fabiano Caruana, after an amazing streak, lost a game: Andreikin, the lowest rated player in the event, won a nice ending, which GM Joel Benjamin illustrates in this video. Gelfand drew, and now Boris and Fabiano share first place with half a point over Radjabov, Kasimdzhanov and Karjakin, who beat Nakamura today.

GM Lars Bo Hansen recaps Round 9. An amazing round, which has revolutionized the standings!
The two leaders, Caruana and Gelfand, lost to Grischuk and Mamedyarov respectively; Nakamura won his game against Kasimdzhanov.
Now there is a 6-way tie for first: Caruana, Gelfand, Nakamura, Karjakin, Radjabov and Svidler.
The six leaders are followed by Kasimdzhanov and Tomashevsky, half a point behind. The last two rounds promise to be quite a thrill!

GM John Fedorowicz recaps the final round. The two leaders, Caruana and Gelfand, drew their games, and kept their position at the top, winning the Baku Grand Prix.
The only decisive game today was Grischuk vs. Dominguez; the Russian won a good game, and joined Karjakin, Nakamura, Svidler and Tomashevsky in second place, half a point behind the winners.
