Robocide Engine
Robocide:-
Robocide ... by Daniel white ... ELO ~ 2000 ... did not find this engine in the forum ... robocide is a free, open-source, UCI chess engine. The goal of the project is to produce an engine which is 'more correct' than current top engines, even if this costs some elo points. A good example of this can be seen in the repetition detection logic: most top engines use a 2-fold rule (declaring a position as a draw the first time it is repeated), while robocide uses the standard 3-fold rule.
Everything is written from scratch except for the following parts:
Bitboard magic move generator - written by Pradyumna Kannan (see src/magicmoves.c and src/magicmoves.h).
PRNG - which was written by Francois Panneton, Pierre L'Ecuyer and Makoto Matsumoto (see src/WELL512a.c and src/WELL512a.h).
